Several of the great traits of his sire Noble Duke – just in a different package! Buck is proving to be a great choice when wanting to breed down your size. Despite being on the taller end of a mini himself – every calf he has thrown so far has been TINY. Including producing a calf at a nearby ranch out of a full size Jersey cross who was born at 22″ and is only 27″ at almost 6 months! We have kept 2 of his daughters and are so far very pleased with their size. Buck also brings in some NEW genetics from one of my favorite old time breeders MPRR. Buck’s dam is a heavy cream and high milk producer with large hand milking teats. We expect Buck to finish around 43″ – however both his daughters on our farm are proving to be very small and are only 35″ at one year old!
